With Covid on the rise, we all need to do our part to reduce the infection rate. One of the biggest ways we can help is to be vigilant during the screening process of all Briarcrest visitors and vendors entering the building. Briarcrest recently created a Visitor Screening questionnaire that must be completed by ALL who enter; in addition to the temperature screening check. If a visitor is FULLY vaccinated, they must provide a copy of his/her vaccination card to the facility. If the visitor is NOT fully vaccinated, a Negative covid test result must be completed within 72-hours prior to entering the facility and a copy of that Negative test must be given to the facility receptionist or staff. If family or friends decline to get the Covid vaccine or decline a Covid swab test, then outdoor, parking lot patio visitation is the only very limited option; no entry into the facility would be permitted. Please call the facility for a possible outdoor visitation schedule.

Briarcrest does not have any residents who are positive or symptomatic of COVID-19.

Families and visitors are welcomed in the facility. We screen all who enter and because of Delta variant concerns, a facial cover must be worn indoors at all times. Be mindful of our recommended visiting hours: 11am to early evening. Also please try to limit the number in your visiting group to (2) at a time.

We continue to monitor all staff members for signs and symptoms of Covid-19, including taking each person’s temperature. We are constantly conferring with Public Health and are adhering to their infection control guidelines. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible with the community. If there’s a need to be out in public, please remember to use hand sanitizer often and maintain social distancing.
